Building History
Our taproom and brewing operations are located on the first floor of 960 Logan Street, which is part of the Noblesville Commercial Historic District. It was built in 1909 as part of two buildings constructed by the Castor family and referred to as Castor Block. Our building first housed Carl O. Hare’s garage, became a Maxwell Motorcars dealership in 1912, and then a variety of hardware and machine shops. The space was most recently used as an art gallery with drywall, drop ceilings, and carpeting covering the historic features. We completely renovated the space to create an open, inviting atmosphere that showcases the unique historic nature of this building.
About our Taproom
Primeval Brewing embraces the history of our building and the unique experience it can provide to our customers. Our taproom decor draws inspiration from the beer halls of Germany with long, open tables and an atmosphere that invites gatherings of old and new friends alike. We offer twelve taps of Primeval beers, along with a rotating guest cider tap, and a selection of wines. As an Indiana producer of artisan beverages, we know how important it is to support local beverage producers. So our taproom also offers a selection of specialty craft cocktails featuring Indiana spirits such as Hotel Tango Vodka, Hotel Tango Gin, and Starlight Blackberry Whiskey.
While our primary business is beer, the experience in our family-friendly taproom offers many other aspects for customers to enjoy. We offer a complimentary food menu including quality options such as braided pretzels, a charcuterie board, and a variety of sandwiches to compliment our beer menu. See our current menu options here.
A variety of live entertainment and special events are offered to further enhance your experience with us. Growlers, howlers, and takeout cans of fresh beer are also available so you can take our quality products home or share them with friends! We greatly appreciate the support of the Noblesville community, and hope to play an important role in making downtown an entertainment destination for area residents. Thank you for your interest in Primeval Brewing! You can signup for the Thirst Extinction Mug Club by visiting our taproom. Each membership includes the following lifetime benefits:
- Members receive pours of Primeval beers in special half-liter (16.9 ounce) dimpled mugs for a special price (generally $1 off the price of a regular pour). Note: We encourage responsible consumption. Specialty and higher alcohol beers may not be eligible for mug fills.
- Members receive $1 off regular pours of any Primeval beers.
- Members receive discounts of $2 off regular price for 64 ounce Growler fills and $1 off regular price for 32 ounce Howler fills.
